Let it Snow!

We woke up to this . . .

So we spent alot of time like this . . .

And then finally they talked us in to this . . .

And Aaron finally made it look like this . . .

What a crazy blizzard we had. They have called it an "Epic Storm". We knew it was coming, but it was pretty crazy. We had about 13 inches of snow and some crazy wind, so it blew the drifts so high. The kids loved it and wanted to be out in it every minute, but it was BITTER cold. (can't say I felt the cold as much, I am like a walking heater!) But the temp was -6 with a windchill of -20 t0 -30 below! It was fun to be snowed in and to spend the day in our jammies watching movies, playing games, doing puzzles and eating treats. Now is the bummer part, back to real life in the freezing aftermath!

You are always so positive, I would be freaking out if I woke up to a wall of sown and was due any day, let alone with twins!!! Do any of Aarons med classes cover how to deliver a baby or better how to deliver twins??? How far away from the hospital are you anyway? I hope it's next door! I thought Lainey kinda of had a look of her own but she in the photo of them on the couch she is a little clone as well!! Can't wait to see what the twins look like, do you have names????

I'm glad you didn't have to get to the hospital in a hurry! My Maggie loves the snow too and I can't keep her out of it:) Good luck the next couple of weeks--I wish you were closer so I could help you...

Katie that is incredible. The storm in Iowa was actually so bad that it made the Idaho state paper! So glad I am not in that right now! Good luck with the snow!

You'd think the pressure would of got you. In the springs before I got there, there was a storm just like that and like 30 women were flown to the hospital to deliver...yikes! And ditto to what Kami said, I could tell all three of the girls apart and now they all look alike.....all beautiful of course! Good luck Kate, I told Deb to call me no matter what time it is! I wish I was there to help, I really want to come and help when you move this summer....trust me I am really good at it :)
