Well, the long anticipated day of ultrasound came and we are having another girl! I have to say that I was shocked. I really thought it was a boy! I hate to admit it, but my "mother's intuition" has been wrong all three times! Luckily I have Aaron's "father's intuition" because, once again, he was right. Sadly, I spent an hour today, returning the few "boys" items I had already purchased. That little guy (if it had been) was named, dressed and nursery decorated. Now that it has sunk in a little, I am getting very excited about the idea of a house full of girls! The new little one is healthy and strong and of course, measuring on the higher end of things! We are so excited and feel so blessed to have this little one coming to our family. So now we need a little help with names! We are having a hard time with it this time. We have NO possibilities that we have come up with, so we welcome your suggestions! In fact, we are begging for them! Anyway, just wanted to share our exciting news! |

yay for you guys! 3 girls wow!! Your girls are so dang cute and this upcoming baby will be as wel. Again, congrats to you all!
What did your girls have to say about it?
yay! congrats! take it from me, being in a family of all girls is super fun! my friend just found out that she is having baby girl # 3 as well, she too was convinced it was a boy. oh well! congrats again!
how fun - another girl! I think that is funny you had to return boy stuff, you should have just kept it for showers, but it seems like everyone is having girls. I love Ava, Lilly, Charlotte, and a few more that I am saving for myself!
Congrats Katie! You will have this girl thing down to perfection by the time you are done. As for names, I have no idea what to even suggest. If I think of some I'll send them your way. We didn't know Gabe's name until 2 weeks before he was born!
YEAH YEAH YEAH! I am so excited for you, as you already know, but I will definitely think of that name because wouldn't that be SO cool if I thought up ---- kay allred. Thrilled to pieces for you guys!!
by the way... how come I'm not a friend on your list... come on now!
kate! so so fun! marisa is always a good name...;)
I can't believe it! I was sure it would be a boy too! But your girls are so adorable that it will be another cutie to add to the clan. Names??? Megan!!! can't go wrong right?
Congrats on girl #3! Yay for you guys. That is so exciting! Your other two little girls are so cute Katie. I bet they are excited to meet their little sister!
I am so happy for you. You will love having 3 girls, it is so fun (we just need to let our husbands know that next time they better give us a boy).
I know what it feels like to think you are having a boy and then you don't. I thought Savannah was a boy and it was really hard for me when I found she was a girl, it took awhile for my mind to adjust.
Well Congratulations! I am very happy for you and I am glad she looks good and healthy.
PS I with Jennifer why am I not on your friend list? :)
Yeah! Yeah~~ for the Allred All Girls Club...(except Aaron of course) they will be the best of friends to each other Katie. What gorgeous little girls you have now, I am excited to see what #3 will look like. Names???? Hmm since I don't have any girls... I'm stuck on boys names! But I'll let you know if I come up with any good ones! Congrats again!
Truly Awesome!
They've got you surrounded, Aaron.
- Dave
That will be so fun. Seriously, your girls are so cute. When we have girls (will that ever happen?) I hope they are just like Hallie and Maggie. Dave came home and told me the news and we are so excited for you. Is Tessa out of the running?
Hooray for girl power! I'm excited for you to add another girl to your already cute family. And thanks for the comments on my blog...how funny is it that you and Erica are in the same ward!!
Oh, that is so exciting! I love girls. And like I said, I'm am girl number 3 (in a row) and I love it! We had a lot of extra girl names that we liked. We should talk about it.
I've always thought a house full of girls would be easier than a house full of boys. Girls rock! As for names, I like Lindsay (make sure you spell it with an "ay" and tell her she's been named after your greatest inspiration). Little Lindsay will be darling.
Hey! I'm so glad you found our blog and let us know about yours. What a darling family you have! And congratulations on baby girl #3! So good to hear from you!
love, the Crookstons
