Almost everyone that sees Hallie says that she looks just like me. I had her picture taken when she was a year old and a few days later found a picture of myself that looks so similar! It is really crazy how much we look alike. Just a couple of days ago, Aaron and I came across a picture of me when I was 4. We both immediately thought of Hallie! We really look just alike. In fact, Hallie and Maggie both thought it was Hallie. So I thought it would be fun to post these so that you can see the crazy similarities. I don't mean to leave Maggie out, but she got a little more "Allred" than Hal did.

Fun Pictures
I was so exctied when my friend Mary asked if she could take some pictures of my girls. She is a wonderful photographer and I was flattered that she wanted pictures of us! We didn't tell Aaron that we were taking the pics and so we surprised him for Father's Day. I have to post a few of them so that you can see how cute they turned out! Thanks Mary!

Happy Birthday Hallie!
Happy Birthday to my sweet Hallie! I can't believe that she is really four years old! I remember when they put her in my arms for the first time-- I just sobbed. I couldn't believe that she was mine. She is an absolute gem. She makes me laugh all of the time and has the most vivid imagination! It seems like she has grown up over night. She is like my little buddy, little helper these days. She wants to be so grown up and loves it when I praise her for helping and being sweet. Pretty much everytime I do it lately, she reminds me that is is because she is four now. I couldn't imagine my life without her. She is an angel!
On her birthday!
Hallie is One
Hallie is Two
Hallie is Three
And now she's Four!
Happy birthday sweetie!

My Advice- Take it or Leave it!
So after a sleepless night on Wednesday because of the weather, I decided that I should probably invest in a weather radio so that I wasn't lying there paranoid that we could blow away at any minute. After much searching, I found a store in the area that had not sold out of weather radios and bought one. I am so glad I did. Last night, Jennifer and I were hanging out talking and the alarm went off, letting us know that there was a tornado in our area. I must admit, we both FREAKED out. I grabbed the kids out of bed and put them in Laurie's closet downstairs. (Aaron was not home and I didn't want to be alone!) Thanks Kovacs. There was no tornado action in our neighborhood, but at least we knew and we were prepared. To all of my friends in the midwest- if you don't have one of theses radios, get one! In my opinion it is a must. The have them still at the Hyvee on Grand and they are only $30. Like I said, it is just my advice, so you can take it or leave it! By the way, to any seasoned Iowans, when does the bad weather end. I am thinking it is summer, we should be at the pool! Does that happen around here?
